Located on a 500-acre hilltop working farm in a southeastern Vermont, Putney offers a challenging college preparatory curriculum and strong traditions in visual and performing arts. Putney supports a full outdoor sports program, and our dairy farm anchors both a field ecology elective and a community work ethic. Putney enrolls students from 28 states and 7 countries. For 10 days at the end of fall and spring terms, students work on two supervised projects (academic and non-academic) of their own design.
Putney has a state of the art computer lab with internet connection, and a newly renovated theater. Classes are small, faculty/student relationships close, and graduates attend top universities and colleges.
