Finance 101: Independent School Finance
Finance 101 Workshop: Independent School Finance
Cardigan Mountain School ~ Canaan, NH
February 25, 2019 ~ 10 am - 3 pm
Our short and long-term goals for program and community are guided and informed by mission, but are ultimately enabled by finance. As such, it's important to have an understanding of the financial realities behind our schools so that you as current or future administrators can thoughtfully plan for the operational and strategic challenges and opportunities ahead.
This workshop is meant to provide a high-level introduction to the general components of independent school finances, and provide several group problem-solving exercises to help you apply these concepts.
The day long event led by Steve Solberg, Chief Financial Officer and Assistant Head of School at Cardigan Mountain School, is for administrative leaders who want to strengthen their understanding of school finances.
