ISANNELEADS Reconnect 2020 - All Cohorts
ISANNELEADS Reconnect - All Cohorts
January 30-31, 2020
Berwick Academy - South Berwick, Maine
Ready for another ISANNE reunion? Join Cynthia Howe, Doug Cummings, Jim Mooney and Laurie Hurd at the Portsmouth Sheraton and Berwick Academy on January 30-31, 2020 for an All Cohorts ISANNELEADS Reconnect!
We listened to your suggestions and designed a program that includes time to reconnect with your cohort, meet alums from other years and discuss what your journey as a leader. Our reconnect agenda includes time with your colleagues to:
- Discuss approaches to various leadership challenges;
- Share job-related topics of interest;
- Collaborate on ideas for leadership development programming for the future.
Another common thread in our survey feedback was the topic of wellness. We have invited Dr. Holly Hinderlie, licensed psychologist and consultant who currently serves as the Wellness Coordinator at Choate Rosemary Hall to present to us in the morning. Holly's workshop is titled: Cultivating Deep Wellness: A workshop for Faculty and Administrators at Independent Schools: Schools can be busy and stressful places making personal wellness a challenge for teachers, administrators and students. This workshop will present recent findings on factors that impact educator wellness and guide participants in developing new approaches to maintaining balance in their own lives within a busy school community. We will discuss strategies for creating a culture of wellness in our schools and how as educators we can lead students in developing the skills they need to pursue their own deep wellness.
We know that you are fully engaged in your life at school, and you also lead very busy personal lives. Such is the life of a leader! ISANNE’s Reconnect is a compact professional development experience that minimizes your time away from campus for your greatest benefit. We invite those who can arrive early to Portsmouth on January 30th to join us for cocktails and dinner, and we will move to Berwick Academy for a full day of programming on Friday, January 31st. Please join us to share your unique experiences as we all refresh our perspective on educational leadership and how we are moving forward with our personal goals.
