Compliance and therefore sustainability are the name of the game now. A strategic and mindful approach is required for maintaining and growing a successful and sustainable international program at your school.  Regardless of why your school’s international program may have been started, examining your mission alignment may prove helpful. In this session, we will review how to create effective protocols, policies and processes that reflect a mission appropriate international program. Additionally compliance with the Department of Homeland Security/SEVP will be more important than ever as significant changes have occurred, and at a rapid pace. Keeping up with the SEVP regulations has proven challenging for the best of us. Reviewing the most recent 2018 system changes and strategically planning necessary staffing and training, thereby knowing your international program is fully compliant versus “compliant-ish” will be critical in the running of a successful and sustainable International student program. Finally, work on constructing a solid framework to have in place that will identify your school as an educational leader in the international marketplace.

We will end the day with Roundtable discussions and Jacqui will be available to answer any additional questions.
