Upper School Math/ Statistics Teacher

The Derryfield School seeks an enthusiastic and dedicated Upper School Math/ Statistics teacher for the 2020-2021 school year.
The candidate must be able and interested in teaching Statistics as well as other topics in high school math. They should have coaching or extra curricular interests, possess positive interpersonal skills, enjoy working with high school students, and have the energy and interest to contribute to the school community in a variety of areas.
The ideal candidate will be an educator with:
A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
Experience teaching mathematics and enthusiasm for helping young people learn statistics as well as other applications of math.
Experience with current best practices in math education, including the use of technology, real world application, and project based learning,
Experience working with young people,
A growth mindset and a desire to take on new challenges.
