Jodi McGary

Jodi is a 1996 graduate of Maine Central Institute.  She found her passion in helping others through the School of Social Work at the University of New Hampshire.  Jodi's career as a social worker began at the Department of Social Services, in Massachusetts.  During her time there as a child protective social worker, she completed her Master's Degree in Social Work at Rhode Island College.  In 2006, Jodi returned to MCI with her husband and infant daughter Laney, to become the Director of Counseling and Special Education Coordinator.  During her time at MCI, Chris and Jodi welcomed two more children and Jodi started a part time Private Practice out of their home.  In June of 2013, Jodi, Chris, and their three children, Laney, Emma, and Ryan, relocated to Dover-Foxcroft, ME where Jodi was able to change her primary focus to expanding her Private Practice.  Currently, Jodi provides individual and family therapy to clients ranging in age from 8 years old to 72 years old.  In 2014, Jodi became certified to administer the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) to use within her private practice and in coaching professionals.  Jodi and her family enjoy the outdoors and are active in their community.  Jodi enjoys the flexibility of her Private Practice so she is able to spend quality time with her husband, three children, and extended family.
