The Deck House School
The Deck House School was founded to meet the needs of boys, ages 15-19, who have experienced academic or disciplinary problems in more conventional school settings. Enrolling 12 boarders on a 180-acre wooded campus overlooking the Sheepscot River, the school offers college preparatory curricula, with emphasis on individual attention to build self esteem, firm values, confidence and success. Students remain at the school for varying periods of time, often returning to more traditional schools when goals have been achieved. There are a wide range of individual and group extracurricular activities, from boatbuilding and photography to kayaking and skiing.
