Bridgton Academy

Chris currently serves as Chief Enrollment and Advancement Officer at Bridgton Academy. In his role, Chris oversees both Admissions and Financial Aid while also staying connected with alumni, their families, and friends of the academy. Chris began his career in the Bridgton Academy Admission Office in the summer of 2002.

Immediately following college, Chris joined the admission office of his alma mater, Marist College (Poughkeepsie, NY), while also working as an Assistant Baseball Coach.  In that role, Chris was the NCAA liaison to the (then) 21-division-1 varsity programs that the college sponsored, working with each head coach to attract and recruit players to each program.  From Poughkeepsie, Chris moved to Boston, MA where he worked as an executive recruiter in the high-tech industry.  Just before joining the Bridgton Academy team, Chris taught within the Boston Public Schools system, where his passion to make a career in education was cemented.

For the past 10-years, Chris has chaired the ISANNE Admission Steering Committee, the group focused on bringing professional development to independent school admission professionals throughout the Northeast.  Chris has remained an active member of the National Association of College Admission Counselors (NACAC) and the Northeast Association of College Admission Counselors (NEACAC) throughout his almost 20-year career in the field of admissions. He has also been a member of several professional steering committees; MIBS (Maine Independent Boarding Schools) and PTAC (Pine Tree Admission Consortium).  Chris attended ISANNELeads in 2013, a leadership development program hosted by the Independent Schools of Northern New England, and is an alumni of the Harvard Summer Institute For College Admissions.

Chris received his degree in Communications and minors in History and Psychology in 1997 from Marist College.  While at Marist he was also a decorated baseball player, helping to lead his team to an NCAA East Regional during in his senior year.

In his spare time, Chris spends his time skiing in the winter or on the water in the summer with his family.  He remains a steadfast and loyal Red Sox fan, and passionate golfer.

Chris lives on the campus of Bridgton Academy with his wife, Becci; their daughters, Acadia and Anya, and young son, Tiernan.
